Yalova sits in north-western Turkey, near the Eastern coast of the Marmara sea, so offers its visitors non touristy beaches and average summer temperatures of 28oC. It’s population is around 101,000. It has a famous Sudüşen Waterfall, and hot springs in the Termal district. Yalova is a traditional, residential place with very nice market places. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of modern Turkey resided here in his later years. Excellent fast ferry links operate from Yenikapi, or Pendik in Istanbul to Yalova, en route to Bursa city. Road distance is around 100 km. Property buy and rental rates are about 44% cheaper in Yalova’s city centre than in Istanbul city centre, so it makes an ideal area for you to invest in.
